本课是人民教育出版社出版的新目标Go for it八年级上册Unit 7 How do you make a banana milk shake?的第一课时的教学设计。

本单元是围绕“如何制作香蕉奶昔”为话题展开的，主要谈论一些常见的家庭饮食方面的制作方法。我们在前面已经学习了一些祈使句的用法，因此本单元是对祈使句的深化和延深，通过讲述制做过程和步骤，如何听懂指令、通过听与说的训练，学会准确地判断指令，有序地处理事情，通过动手实际操作，培养和锻炼学生生活能力，且本单元是一个有兴趣，愉悦的话题，无疑还会提高学生运用英语的兴趣和交际能力，对提高学生的办事能力，办事的条理性具有举足轻重的作用。

本课的教学对象是八年级学生，在英语的学习方面已经有了一定的基础，已经具备一定的英语语言素养和多种多媒体信息处理能力，喜欢表现自己，但是不能准确表达自己。这一阶段的学生的思维能力发展较快，自我意识增强，在情感方面能进行自我教育，好奇心强，喜欢探索新鲜事物，喜欢动手参与，也喜欢竞赛，经过新课程理念的熏陶及实践，有了初步的自主、合作、探究、实践的能力，但学习状态不稳定，仍需要引导。所以这节课我设计了两个任务分组完成，在课堂上应用大量实物，让学生动手制作，学生在做的过程中掌握目标语言结构。

能熟练掌握并运用“peel，cut up，pour，put，turn on”等动词，以及制作过程的祈使句表达方式，并能熟练运用制作过程。

2．过程与方法目标

培养学生观察、判断、概括、归纳等思维能力，以及对所学语言的表达能力。

3．情感态度与价值观目标

    通过教学培养学生与人交往中具有的积极态度，培养学生的实际生活能力，了解生活知识，增长生活阅历，培养他们实践操作能力和动手能力。让学生更多地了解不同国家和不同地域的饮食文化和饮食习惯，学会尊重别人的习俗。

重点

学习制作苹果奶昔所需的相关词汇和句型。

难点

学会制作苹果奶昔并描述其过程。

课前准备

阅读资料或社会调查，了解水果沙拉、奶昔、爆米花、三明治、北京烤鸭等食品的制作过程。

准备两台果汁机和录音机。

Play a piece of music “Food and drink” for students to listen .

Show pictures and review the names of some fruit. Get students to discuss these questions:

1. What kind of fruit do you like?

2. Do you like bananas?

3. What is your favorite drink?

T: Today we are going to learn a new kind of drink--a banana milk shake. Do you want to know how to make it?

T: Never mind. I can make. Now let us study “Unit 7 How do you make banana milk shake?”

T: Let’s see how to make a banana milk shake. We need lots of ingredients. For example: bananas, milk, yogurt, blender, knife, ice cream and so on.

T: How many bananas do we need? How much milk do we need?

First show the process of making a banana milk shake.

Then let students repeat

Enjoy the song.

Discuss these questions in pairs and then show the answers.

Students answer the teacher’s questions.
